I can honestly say that becoming a physiotherapist was one of the best things that I ever decided to do. I love my job and feel very privileged to wake up every morning looking forward to the day ahead. I am truly passionate about helping people and do all I can to help the people in my care achieve their goals and have the best quality of life possible.
After graduating from Manchester University in 1999, I moved to West Sussex to be close to the sea. I spent the next 15 years gaining invaluable experience as a physio at Worthing hospital, where I worked in a range of clinical areas including orthopaedics, intensive care, medicine, neurology, community, respiratory, cardiac rehabilitation and care of the elderly.
In 2007, following the birth of my twins, I decided to pursue my interest in massage therapy. I enjoyed it so much that I kept adding to my qualifications until I had reached the highest level possible within the UK.
In 2014 I left the NHS to follow my dream of combining physiotherapy with my love of massage.

I qualified from the university of Brighton in 2019 with 1st class honours in Physiotherapy. Over the last 3 years I have worked full time for the NHS where I have completed all of my rotations gaining experience in; orthopaedics, neurology, respiratory, medicine, surgery, intensive care, emergency care, care of the elderly, paediatrics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I have since specialised to become a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist. The experience I have gained from working in all of these areas has given me a variety of skills that I am able to use to treat all kinds of different conditions and pathologies.
Since the age of 10 I knew that I wanted to become a physiotherapist. I was always a very active person, I loved sport, science and always knew that my calling in life was to help people. If you put all of these things together…you get a physiotherapist. I truly love my job and I feel grateful that as a physiotherapist I am able to help people improve their quality of life and help them get back to doing things that they love. I genuinely believe that remaining active is one of the most important things we can do for both our bodies and our minds.
I would describe myself as an outgoing, bubbly and glass half full person. In my spare time I love going to the gym, going for walks along the seafront and socialising with my friends and family.
I completed my Physiotherapy training in 2003 and have worked in the health industry for the past 20 years. First, for The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust and then for the NHS. I also obtained my Massage Diploma in 2006 which helped me to broaden the skills and treatment I can offer patients. For the last 10 years , I have mainly worked in elderly care and post-operative rehabilitation.
Throughout my career I have worked with a variety of patients, from young soldiers in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit to older patients who suffer with mobility and balance problems. I feel that working with patients, enabling them to improve and seeing them achieving their goals through therapy is the greatest reward in my line of work.
I have been active all my life, I started skiing at the age of six and played basketball since I was ten years old and I continue that now. I believe that movement is one of the most underappreciated medicines we have at our disposal.
In my spare time, I enjoy doing pilates, cooking and spending time with my family.
